Quick Start Tutorial

First download and unzip Client.Setup.Zip from www.RPGWO.com . Once you have unzipped client.setup.zip and Run the program called Setup.exe by double clicking on it.

It will copy files needed for the installation to your hard drive.

Then it will come up with a new screen and click on Ok to continue.

Then it in the next screen you chose where you want to install RPGWO, in this case the regular installation directory (folder) will do. (Note: I changed the folder to install to from C:\Program Files\Client\ to C:\Program Files\Client2\ since I already had RPGWO installed.)

Then Click on the computer Icon (circled in yellow)next to all the text to start the installation (takes about a minute to install).

Then once is it is finished installing it will say that the installation is successful and click Ok to finish

Now that you have successfully installed RPGWO you can now go play online. Goto Start > All Programs > RPG World Online > and click on RPG World Online and now it should launch. Then you click on [I agree with the User Agreement]

Then it will ask you to chose a RPG Server IP, commonly referred to as worlds, so for beginners I would Chose the World which Says Newb Friendly after it and then click on OK and it will begin updating your files and launch the Client after its done (this will take a while if its the first time you've played or if your going to play on a new world/server)

If its the first time you have played on the world you will have to create a New Account. Check the check box next to New User and enter in your New Username (don't get this mixed up with your characters name) and Password along with a Your Email address and click on OK . You can always change your email address at any time while logged in on one of your characters by typing /email with your new email address afterwards /email youremail@whatever.com

Then Click on Create to create a new character.

and a new window will appear. Move the slide bars to change your Attributes which help out your Skill for example the skill blacksmith will cost you 8 skill points and it uses Str and Dex (short for Strength and Dexterity) so it would be best if you had your Str and Dex to the max because when you start with that char its blacksmith will be at a higher level then if you only had your Str and Dex at the lowest. (100 Str + 100 Dex / 3 = 66.6 so your blacksmith level when you first start out would be about 65 the same apply for all the other skills) To add a skill that you want select it first then click on the >> and to make it specialized (raises twice as fast as normal) select the skill from the Trained Skills box and click on the >> next to the Specialized skills box the << will remove the skills. Since I know how hard it can be trying to create a new Character with the right skills I will make the basic Characters. Swordsman or any other Str and Dex fighting skill

Throwing or Dagger Character

Mage, Mana conversion is a must but don't specialize Mana Conversion it will just be a waste of skill Points, For a black magic Mage White magic is a must since you can use stamina to mana to replenish your mana. For a helper mage (don't know the correct name for it) you will be good with Red magic (you can boost people like +10 dex) and Blue magic (allows you to improve weapons/armor) and white magic would be a good idea too. (beware mages have a low missile defense be a good idea to specialize it)

Trader; there are a few types but this is the best for making weapons (I haven't made any other traders besides this type so I don't know of any other good sets of skills)

Once you have finished creating your character you click on OK and then select the character you made then click on Enter to login to the world (you can delete characters at anytime by selecting them and clicking on Delete and also some worlds have limits on how many different characters you can have on one account) Click here to learn how to use the client (client 2.0 has different layout haven't updated it yet)
